Shri Prakash Shukla :-

Shri Prakash Shukla,
(Born 18 May 1965 in Village Barwan,Sonbhadra District of UP,India)  ,Is a  renowned  Poet ,Critique and Travelogue writer   of Hindi Language  .Many of his poems have been translated into English Language.Presently working as Professor of Hindi Literature in BHU,Varanasi since 2005.He  belongs to the period of 1990s, a decade that is one of the most magnificent and important for the history of hindi poetry.He  receives  his insights from the traditions and his poetic resources and assets from his surroundings . He gains his wisdom from science and inspiration from the society. His poetic world is diverse and significant. He has 7 book of Poetry in Hindi ,BOLI -BAAT ,ORHAN AND ANY KAVITAYEN,KSHIRSAGAR MEN NEED being widely read, and  with each of his newly published work he serves his readers a new set of ideas. By his nature he is very accommodating and student friendly and capable enough to understand the creative verve of the younger generation. He is one of the most enthusiastic and communicative poet of his generation. To converse with him is like visiting a different domain of knowledge. One of the most celebrated poet of his time, he addresses the contemporary hindi poetry by the name of Corojivi Poetry . He has written many good and outstanding poems during the Corona period. He has got credit to write  the’ Post -Corona’ poem at the time when this term  was unheard in the hindi poetic sphere in April 2020. Along with a magnificient  poet ,he is also an outstanding orator and contributed a lot in the field of Travelogue and Bhakti Poetry .He has mesmerized his audience by contributing a lot in the field of criticism by connecting Pandemic and creativity  in the historical process.
He has many literary awards at his disposal and Currently working as Professor of Hindi, in Banaras Hindu University and is also the Coordinator of Bhojpuri Adhyayn Kendra,BHU . 

Life –
Shri Prakash Shukla Was born on 18th May 1965 in Village Barwan , district of Sonbhadra (Uttar Pradesh ) .He is the youngest among all five brothers andhas been  brought up in rural environment. He graduated from Allahabad university in science discipline  and due to deep involvement in hindi literature,Did his MA and Ph.D in Hindi Literature.Before joining in BHU as Professor in 2005, in the Dept of Hindi,He worked as Asstt Professor In Govt girls College,Ghazipur from 1998 -2000 and in the same position in P G College,Ghazipur from 2000 to 2005.
He married to sunita Shukla who worked as a English Teacher In various schools of Varanasi and he has one daughet Darshita Shukla and One Son Aagat Shukla .
He is presently settled in Varanasi.

  मैं हिन्दू हूँ इस धरती की धड़कनें सांस्कृतिक स्वर की ऊँची अनुगूँज हैं अपनी सनातनी अर्थ-प्रक्रिया में यह हिन्दुत्व के ध्वजोत्तोलन का समय है मैं हिन्दू हूँ मेरे आध्यात्मिक गुरु ऋषिचित्त हैं मैं शैशवावस्था से शाकाहारी हूँ माँ सरस्वती का भक्त हूँ और माँ दुर्गा का भी पर, मैंने सत्रह सालों तक शिव की उपासना की है कई सालों तक कतकी नहायी है मुझे जब से जानकारी है तब से रोज़ हनुमान का ध्यान करता आ रहा हूँ मैं उदार, उदात्त व धर्मनिरपेक्ष धार्मिक हूँ क्योंकि मैं सभी धर्मों के शक्ति-स्रोतों को मानता हूँ मंदिर-मस्जिद-गुरुद्वारा जाता हूँ ! मैं बुद्ध को ख़ूब पढ़ता हूँ पर, मैं बौद्ध नहीं हूँ मैं महावीर स्वामी को ख़ूब पढ़ता हूँ पर, मैं जैन नहीं हूँ मैं कबीर को भी ख़ूब पढ़ता हूँ पर, मैं कबीरपंथी नहीं हूँ मैं तुलसी को भी ख़ूब पढ़ता हूँ पर, मैं रामनामी नहीं हूँ न ही मैं भगवाधारी हूँ मैं ग्रामदेवता को पूजता हूँ प्रकृति की पूजा करता हूँ माँ का पाँव छूता हूँ पिता का पाँव छूता हूँ गुरु का पाँव छूता हूँ पुरखों का पाँव छूता हूँ मैं वादियों का पढ़ता हूँ पर, मैं वादी नहीं हूँ सिवाय इसके कि मैं स्पष्टवादी हूँ जो कहना होता है
